This is one of my all-time favorite mangas. It's a BL,(shounen-ai, Boy's Love, yaoi), manga. A brilliant but extremely eccentric manga artist named Niki is completely helpless at the business of daily life, and is only saved by the help of his childhood best friend Shouji, an art dealer. These two, the hopeless mangaka and the well-dressed, super-competent business men are an unlikely pair but they both need each other. Under the stresses of daily life they are pulled apart by outside influences, as well as by Shouji's growing dissatisfaction at being only a friend. If he leaves Niki alone will the hapless artist die of starvation in two weeks under a pile of dirty laundry, empty pizza boxes and unfinished drawings? Will Shouji be able to go on without the person who has always been the center of his life? It's a wonderful relationship, full of tragic background details and pathos, as well as humor and pancakes. :) I can't wait for them to finally make it available for purchase. At 12 chapters, it will take more than one volume to complete, I think.Product details
